Additionally, whenever you are with me you shall not eat until I have fed you the first bite. If I bring something to your lips you do not care to eat, you may respond "Thank you, Master." However, if I insist, you shall accept it and eat it."

When I am eating alone, instead of his feeding me the first bite, I visualize him doing so, and remind myself that I am here to serve him.

In addition to feeding me the first bite of anything I eat, at home he occasionally has me serve him his meal and then kneel before him (naked, of course) while he eats.

When we eat out, which is frequently,  he orders everything for me. I am not allowed to look at a menu unless we're eating in a restaurant we've never been in before, although I may tell him if there is something specific I feel like eating. Obviously this works for us because we've been together long enough and eaten out often enough so that he knows my preferences.

The tenet behind this is that I am his property, not his lover. While he wishes to feed me food I desire, eating with him at the same table is a privilege, not a right.

Another couple has the slave tasting all the master's food and drink before he ingests it.  This is to test his food for poison.  The slave says it is another way to remind her that she is there for his use and pleasure.
